 CAROLE TROLL IS “FINE AND MELLOW” New York, January 17, 2008: Jazz is a sustaining American art form. When it comes to classic female vocalists there is no denying that women like Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday set the standard! More contemporary artists like Dianne Reeves and Cassandra Wilson have captured the essence of what jazz divas are all about. Now, we are proud to introduce the most recent entry into the mix. Introducing, Carole Troll’s two track teaser CD “Fine and Mellow.” Her sultry voice and broad range is both striking and pure. She attacks the notes and the lyrics with bold precision as she seduces you to listen on her terms. Carole has been cultivating her voice while also working as an actress in almost every venue in the entertainment industry. You may or may not recognize her right away, but she has been in a bevy of television commercials, and has appeared on episodes of Law and Order and other NBC shows. She recently appeared in a feature film comedy,”The Ex”, playing a delivery room nurse to Amanda Peet and Zach Braff. She has also appeared in numerous musicals and dramatic plays. As a character actress, Carole has had to portray a variety of roles that don’t lend to the glamour of jazz. With “Fine and Mellow,” Carole is reintroducing herself as a serious musician and a woman of glamour like the jazz divas we have come to love! She is working hard to carve out a place with her jazz idols. “Summertime” showcases the appeal of the traditional song and then takes you on a jazz funk trip that will have you moving your hips and feeling the warmth of the summer heat! “Fine and Mellow”, the title track of this 2 track disc, is sexy, and raw as each note is delivered with pure emotion.
